Frogs
Here are some fantastic ideas for making your room 'hoppy'!
* Your job board could consist of lily pads with the job name, and the students' names on frogs. Move the frogs from pad to pad as their jobs change.
* Create a pond in your room using a plastic swimming pool or pond liner from a hardware store (ask nicely and they may donate it). Fill it with water and water plants, and raise tadpoles.
* Replace the word 'Happy' around your room with 'Hoppy' (Hoppy Birthday!).
* Replace the word 'Totally' around your room with 'Toad-ally' (Toad-ally Great 4th Graders).
* Create pillows with frog fabric, or make lily pad pillows.
* Take a picture of each student, close up, at the beginning of the year. Then, at the end of the year, stick the face on the head of a tadpole, and take another picture for an adult frog face-they've transformed!
