Space
In honor of my trip to Space Camp this June, here are ideas for turning your room into a giant solar system!
*Scatter glow-in-the-dark stars over your ceiling, and die-cut yellow stars over your walls.
*Back all bulletin boards in black, and use space-themed borders or overlapping stars to frame them.
*Create a giant rocket for students to read in (I would love to see this!)
*Hang paper-mache or inflatable planets from the ceilings, with the sun over your door (can you get the spacing correct??)
*Create small planets to hang by cutting styrofoam balls in half and placing a cd in the middle-glue the ball halves onto the cd and paint!
*Create a poster/bulletin board with the quote 'Reach for the Moon-If you miss, you'll still fall among the stars.'
