Activities
Spring Cleaning Parent Letter- In need of some classroom supplies?  Send home a 'spring cleaning' letter and ask parents to keep you in mind as they start the garage sale season.
Did You Know...- Use this pattern to create a beautiful bulletin board filled with St. Patrick's day trivia
St. Patrick's Day Games- A mad lib and a trivia quiz will delight your students
Lucky You- Homework passes to give out to lucky students
Failte Banner- A wonderful way to wish visitors 'Welcome' in Gaelic.
March is Reading Month- My last school would always choose a theme for MIRM, choosing camping and Dr. Suess for the two years I was there.  The basic concept was to decorate a board in the theme, and award students parts of the board for hitting reading goals.  For example, students earned different camping supplies (a cooler, a fire and lastly a tent) or different stripes on a red and white hat.  They reached their reading goals by turning in reading 'tickets', either per book or per reading time length (20-30 minutes).
Dr. Suess's Birthday- Information and activities
Dr. Suess Recipe- Make the cat's hat with food
Dr. Suess Inflatables- Could be kind of cool by your bulletin board
