Listen to podcasts done by my past students here.

Build a recording studio!  Find a small area-I used a closet-and put a mirror on the wall.  Find a small table or desk to put against the wall and perhaps a music stand to hold scripts.  For an added bonus, put a red light outside of the area for students to turn on while they are recording-this lets other students to be very quiet in their activities.

This is my recording studio from this past year-I had the Reminder Signs II (above) on the wall in frames as well (not pictured).  I stored scripts, our iPod/recording equipment, blank cds and others supplies in the baskets.  The table was found for free on Craigslist-the middle shelf was a pull-out keyboard that I used an electric drill to lower until it was shelf height.

Podcasts aren't just for students' creation!  You can make them as well.  Read this article about the value in creating podcasts of your daily instruction and making them available for students to access later at home.
