Most domains that use your name (such as www.mrsuppman.com) are still available, so go ahead and purchase it for your use.  You will have to renew this once a year, but it can be yours for as long as you want it.  This will run you about $10 a year.

Once you've bought your domain name, you can get started building the site.  1and1.com is extremely user-friendly, as it gives you design templates to choose from and allows you to simply type in your text and upload pictures and files as you please.  Your webpage package will run $5-10 a month, depending on the options you want.

This is a fantastic way to post homework, podcasts, pictures, blogs, etc.  Check out www.mrs.uppman.com and www.mrsisenegger.com for inspiration!
